Naphthalene is also named as tar camphor.It is the most important polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon in industry.In Japan, 2-hydroxybiphenyl and basic sodium salts are used to prevent mildew in oranges. Add 0.8 % of this product to the wax, spray it on the post-harvest citrus, or use it with biphenyl to minimize rot.
